Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Hardin County, Illinois. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Requirements: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg The role involves adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
