Join our team: we are hiring a press operator in Stevens County, Kansas. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Day to day you will check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; record output and downtime on the production sheet; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $200 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
