We are recruiting: moulder (Louisiana)

Join our team: we are hiring a moulder in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a busy iron foundry. The role involves: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Basic grinding and fettling skills A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
