Semi-automatic welder wanted in Muhlenberg County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding The role involves clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
