Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Pennington County, South Dakota. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance The role involves: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
