We are recruiting: sheet metal welder (Nebraska)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Garden County, Nebraska. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
