Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
