The role involves: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
