Site safety steward — Kiru

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site safety steward in Kiru, Kano State. The role involves: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports Requirements: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
