Immediate opening: diesel mechanic (Louisiana)

Join our team: we are hiring a diesel mechanic in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a roadside repair garage. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and methodical fault-finding • Physically fit for lifting heavy parts On a typical shift you will service and replace timing belts and chains; diagnose engine faults using an OBD-II scan tool; road-test vehicles to confirm the repair; check and top up coolant, brake fluid and power-steering fluid; replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters; estimate repair costs and order the right parts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
