Safety inspector wanted in San Luis Obispo County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety inspector in San Luis Obispo County, California. The job is on a high-rise building project. The role involves: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry You should have: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. We offer $240 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
