Restoration bricklayer — Plymouth County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Plymouth County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding On the job you will handle: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish Six days a week, one day off.
