Pipe fitter wanted in Sitka City and Borough

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe fitter in Sitka City and Borough, Alaska. Day to day you will replace worn washers, seals and float valves; cut, thread and join pipes with solvent cement or threaded connections; fit and seal taps, mixers, stopcocks and gate valves; connect overhead and underground water tanks; install geysers, water heaters and booster pumps; lay soil and waste drainage lines to the correct fall. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • ITI certificate in plumbing or fitter trade where applicable 1+ years on the tools preferred.
