Great opportunity: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Owyhee County, Idaho. You will be based on a high-rise façade. On a typical shift you will lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness. You should have: • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges 5+ years on the tools preferred.
