Immediate opening: we are hiring a head butcher in Hansford County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling The role involves: • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking 5+ years on the tools preferred.
