Vertical transportation technician • Geauga County, Ohio

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Geauga County, Ohio. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Day to day you will adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; run load and overload tests with test weights; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox.
