Now hiring: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Baylor County, Texas. You will be based in a gas distribution network. Day to day you will complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
