Gas pipeline fitter — Alger County

Join our team: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Alger County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious You will install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
