Great opportunity: we are hiring an AC mechanic in Merthyr Tydfil County Borough, Wales. You will be based at a busy AC installation company. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces • Can read electrical and piping schematics On a typical shift you will charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges; evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum; clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing; mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them; insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving; wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator.
