What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently On the job you will handle: • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
