Elevator technician — Fountain County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator technician in Fountain County, Indiana. You will work in a residential tower block. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces The role involves: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
