Painter wanted in Borough of Torbay

Vacancy available: we are hiring a painter in Borough of Torbay, England. Day-to-day duties: • Lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams • Cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer You should have: • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site Rotating shifts.
