Stainless steel welder — Bennett County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Bennett County, South Dakota. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $10,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
