On a typical shift you will cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
