Gas service engineer • Chippewa County, Michigan

Join our team: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Chippewa County, Michigan. You will be based in a gas distribution network. On the job you will handle: • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply You should have: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
