Immediate opening: stainless steel welder (Idaho)

Now hiring: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Bonner County, Idaho. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On the job you will handle: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
