Great opportunity: elevator technician (Nebraska)

Join our team: we are hiring an elevator technician in Red Willow County, Nebraska. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Day-to-day duties: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays Full-time, day shift.
