Roofer — Santa Barbara County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a roofer in Santa Barbara County, California. You will be based on commercial flat-roof projects. On the job you will handle: • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather • A good head for heights and steady balance • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day 6+ years on the tools preferred.
