Brick and block layer • Obi Nwga, Abia State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Obi Nwga, Abia State. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Your main tasks: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb 4+ years on the tools preferred. ₦250,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
