Urgent requirement: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in Northwest Arctic Borough, Alaska. The job is on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Requirements: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine On a typical shift you will glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
