The role involves: • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Full-time with occasional weekends.
