Bulldozer operator • Chikun, Kaduna State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Chikun, Kaduna State. You will be based at a landfill site. Day-to-day duties: • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Full-time, day shift.
