Argon welder wanted in Hays County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Hays County, Texas. You will work on a structural steel site. On the job you will handle: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Full-time with occasional weekends.
