We are recruiting: we are hiring a roofing technician in Grundy County, Illinois. The job is at a sheet metal roofing workshop. The role involves: • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
