Great opportunity: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Ohio County, Indiana. You will be based on a commercial fit-out project. The role involves apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls. What we are looking for: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day 6+ years on the tools preferred.
