Concrete worker • Lee County, Mississippi

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete worker in Lee County, Mississippi. You will be based in a residential housing project. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Day-to-day duties: • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength Full-time with occasional weekends.
