Window glazier wanted in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area

Great opportunity: we are hiring a window glazier in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska. You will be based on site fitting windows in new-build flats. What we are looking for: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors On the job you will handle: • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Pay around $5,750 per project, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
