Chiller technician • Onondaga County, New York

Now hiring: we are hiring a chiller technician in Onondaga County, New York. Day to day you will replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds 2+ years on the tools preferred. $11,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
