Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in Sumter County, Alabama. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Day to day you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters.
