Great opportunity: we are hiring a baker in Lincoln County, North Carolina. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens The role involves decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; score the top of loaves before baking; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
