Concrete placer • Amelia County, Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete placer in Amelia County, Virginia. You will discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins. Ideal candidate: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
