Single needle operator wanted in Ibadan South East

Vacancy available: we are hiring a single needle operator in Ibadan South East, Oyo State. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. On a typical shift you will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. ₦75,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
