Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Dambatta, Kano State. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Own basic hand tools and PPE Your main tasks: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
