Stainless steel welder wanted in Potter County

Now hiring: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Potter County, Texas. Day to day you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
