Fabrication workshop technician • Tippah County, Mississippi

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Tippah County, Mississippi. The job is on site fitting windows in new-build flats. On a typical shift you will cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; take site measurements of openings before fabrication. You should have: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
