Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Burt County, Nebraska. Your main tasks: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 6+ years on the tools preferred.
