Chiller technician • Swain County, North Carolina

Join our team: we are hiring a chiller technician in Swain County, North Carolina. The job is at a food processing plant. On the job you will handle: • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution Ideal candidate: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC Part-time with flexible hours.
