Excavator operator wanted in Cowley County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an excavator operator in Cowley County, Kansas. You will be based at a drainage and utilities contractor. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat You will load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
