Vacancy available: we are hiring a scullery hand in Dakota County, Nebraska. You will work in a hospital canteen. You should have: • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) The role involves polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass; hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method; sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature; keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift. $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
