Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment machinist in Lincoln County, Oregon. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. Requirements: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory On the job you will handle: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
